    need some help.

    My fault, I should have mentioned the floor is tile. :) I am also not an overly huge fan of wires showing. But if that is my ONLY option I would rather have flat wires running along the wall than no 7.1 surround sound. But I am honestly looking for a better solution than flat wiring. No offense :)

    My fault on the clarity of my comment. That hiss noise IS the "pink" noise. But the noise DOES sound like the sound of static.
