I actually had a similar set up. 3 ML in the front and two def tech for the rears. You definitely want to match and are doing so. Im not sure if this will affect your purchase but I ended up turning the def techs and getting MLs for the rear. I think the MLs can handle higher volume better...

FirstReflections advice is right on. He helped guide my system upgrade. The subwoofer is very important to the overall feel of the system and is worth the extra money.

This is a great system. I bought the Onkyo 709 receiver from the site ImCloud mentioned above and it's a great AVR. Although it's refurbished it looks brand new and works great. They provide a warranty as well.
