    Strange Beam Angle

Thanks! Well that explains a lot. Actually, I didn't buy it but my father did, and I don't think he was aware of that feature. And when he bought it, he didn't know where the projector would be set. I actually took it because the projector was never used. Still, I find it a very strange feature :D

    Strange Beam Angle

I dit it... The only thing I found is a way to mirror it vertically for hanging the projector on the ceiling. Well, actually, I have to tilt him down a lot... So you say it's absolutely normal? This is odd, they could just have tilted and moved the lens slightly. :s

    Strange Beam Angle

Hi everyone! I have an Optoma projector at home and there is something odd about it. The light beam does not come through the center (see image) of the lens, but much higher. I'm not an expert, but this doesn't seem normal. I checked the user's manual but did not find something relevant at...

My first DIY speakers: ProAc Studio 100 like

Indeed, I know that it's a different speaker, but on the 101's page, he refers to this one: "For more information about filling, see..." Since I made them for my brother, I cannot check them in detail. I had them for one week at home and sounded great. But is difficult to say... I'll ask him ;-)

My first DIY speakers: ProAc Studio 100 like

Hi ;-) The damping should ideally be similar to this one. I've used some felt (I found some in the basement) and some very cheap isolation glass wool. Apparently, glass wool would be the best you could find, but is not used anymore because it could be dangerous when not used properly. I...

My first DIY speakers: ProAc Studio 100 like

Hi! Yes, it is Troels design ;-) you can google him ;-) I could easily seal the back. Could some silicone gel do the trick? I could not find much info about cabinet filling. This sounded great, but how could I hear if I put too much filling in it? The wool I used is glass wool. Thanks ;-)

    MAC Software

You can simply use VLC, it reads almost everything, and it's free!! Otherwise, check Amarra. But IMO, it's just a way to make you pay. Otherwise, if you like to keep a nice library, why not using iTunes? Unfortunately, it doesn't support FLAC, but does support Apple Los less ;-) You could...

My first DIY speakers: ProAc Studio 100 like

Hi everyone! This is the story of how we (me and my dad) made a beautiful pair of speakers. Or should I say monitors? Anyway, that makes music and it's great. I decided to make them for my brother. He is a musician and needed some good monitors for his home studio. So... instead of buying...

Samsung Smart TV Video Review with the LED 8000 Series

Something you should know: It's impossible to read HD films or 3D movies from an USB stick or hard drive!! ExFat (aka Fat64) is not supported, so you can forget large (> 4Go) files!!
