Sheriff says Ga. toddler killed by 7 dogs in yard as mother, others were inside house

I think the key here is the "7 dogs" more than anything else. My 80lb dog is extremely well behaved around the kids, but when I take him to the dog park and he starts "running with the pack" it's like he turns into a completely different animal (needless to say, we don't go to the crowded dog...

    Dual subs...should placement be symmetric?

So you think I should move the front corner loaded sub to the right side of the tv? Looking at the Harman papers it does seem that this approach ought to perform well, I just wonder how much the large open space to the side would change thing. Given that I've got a 4311, running Audyssey...

What does "more sub" get one?

#1 here definitely makes sense to me. #2 does too, but how does one identify this? If one hasn't already developed the expertise to identify these things by ear, is there a good way to learn about what to look for? Or is the only definitive way to compare two subs side by side? Thanks again.

    Dual subs...should placement be symmetric?

Not sure why that image link is broken. If I right click on it and "open in new tab" it goes to the correct place. Do I need a minimum post count for images to display?

    Dual subs...should placement be symmetric?

Thanks for all the responses so far. Here's a rough sketch-up of the space. Right now I'm playing with the extra room behind the couch for the second subwoofer. The reason that I started wondering about this question is that I've read in a couple of places that if you pair two subwoofers...

What does "more sub" get one?

I use Audyssey to calibrate all my speakers, and then run my subs about 3-4db hot from there. I basically never listen to anything louder than -10, and my subs seem to handle this just fine. Given this situation, would "more sub" basically have no effect? Or rather, it would potentially...

    Dual subs...should placement be symmetric?

Trying to figure the placement for dual subs. One of them basically has to go in the front corner (i.e. corner loaded), however, I have a bit of leeway for the other one. Should I corner load the second sub as well so that it matches?

    Flat speaker wire recommendations?

I just finished running flatwire to my side and rear surrounds. It worked out really well, but I had to make some runs across the ceiling so it required a bit of mudding + sanding to meet wife approval standards. As others have said, it wasn't cheap, seems to be in the same ballpark as the...
