I am feeding WMA files from my HTPC to my receiver via an HDMI cable from an ATI 5570 HD via card, but noticed that all music sent this way requires me to turn the volume up on my receiver much higher than when playing internet radio from receiver or playing Pandora or Radio Paradise from HTPC...
