Thanks for the review. Just wondering.... Why the A3s and not the A5s?

The looks of it leave me unimpressed. Based on the features; it appears to be a a UMC-200 in a different chassis with amp section added. I'm curious how well it handles a 4 ohm load. That would make a difference over the competition.

Sounds similar to what our mutt (Pug/Husky) goes through occasionally. Take her to the vet. It sounds like her hip is bothering her. Hope she's OK.

I'm probably the last person in the world to hear this, but in case I'm not: For any fellow UMC-200 owners still suffering from silver trim syndome. The black trim is available from Emotiva if you call or I presume Email. Ordered mine today. Standard price. 20 bucks.

I'm actually pretty interested in the XMC-1. With my 25% off upgrade for life and a sale of my UMC-200, I could get into this thing for a bit over a grand. Time will tell... What's a bit disturbing is the b itch ing that's been going on at Emo's site since the news of a delay. Some of the guys...

Also, have Adam arrange shipment via Amazon. That worked out well for his coffee. That way I can perform any break in they may need before you come my way in the spring to pick them up. You know where I live right? :D

Yes. You will need a powered sub. Any decent subwoofer will have a crossover, but you would be best to let the Denon handle that and set the cross over to it's max setting.
