My basement Rec Room / Wet Bar build
I think I paid around $35 to fill the 20lbs. I drink probably 4-5 pints a week, but I expect to put a good dent in the kegs on Sunday with my friends :)

I have a big 20lb canister so yeah, it should last more than a year. Since I filled it in October the needle hasn't moved :)

Missed this somehow. I'll definitely do a get-together and let you know. I'm having a super bowl party if you want to come over for that lol

Yes, the bar backs up to my mechanical room so right behind the wall is the fridge that holds the kegs, as well as the CO2 tank / regulator.

The wall plates have banana connectors on the inside of the wall, so the in-wall wiring is terminated with banana plugs. Is that what you meant?

Suggestions for Reciever with dual sub outs......How do I know?
The X4000 is discontinued so I suggest you grab one before they're all gone. Accessories4Less has them at $650 shipped -- for that price it's a no brainer. Buying any other receiver without Audyssey XT32 is going to be a waste when running dual subs....

What New Stuff Have You Bought? If You Care To Share Thead! :)
Finally found a used pair of LSA On Wall surrounds to use as rears, matching my current sides. I'm finally done with speakers! lol

What does more power really do for your speakers?
Remember, power (watts) = voltage x amps (current). With a more powerful amp you're able to supply more current. Depending on your speakers' impedance at various frequencies, more current can help the speaker reach it's full potential. It's not just about volume -- it's about those quick...

A minor update: added matching rear surrounds to the existing side surrounds and did a stone veneer on the stairway wall. Couldn't be happier with the results! Only thing left is to do dropped crown moulding with rope lighting.

Ohm selection for Denon 4311ci
Leave it at the default (8ohm) setting. Switching it 4 ohms gains you nothing and will only degrade the receiver's performance.

what bookshelf system?
I consider my LSA1 Monitors in rosewood to be one of the nicest looking bookshelf speakers out there, and I looked at a ton of them (not to mention I previously owned Paradigm Studio 10s, also a looker). You can get them for way under $1000...

Here's what's in my kegerator... (Shiner Bock, in case the Spoetzl Brewery didn't give it away). It's still my favorite, although I'm moving towards brown ales lately. Ellies Brown Ale to be precise....

Theater Room Set Up
I'm talking about sub cables to the back corners, as sometimes that could be a preferable spot for a sub (or subs). For those long runs I would recommend Monoprice.com (it's what I used in the pics above) -- something like this CL-2 inwall rated 50-footer for only $10...

Yeah, you need to run subwoofer cables to at least the front two corners. And while you're at it, might wanna run cables to the back two corners as well.
