You want to be careful with running the receivers sub setting maxed out as some will start to clip the output at high levels.

There is no problem if you are listening "to the speakers" and they make you happy, however if you want to listen "to the music" as it was intended the recorded measurements can show you how faithfully the speakers can reproduce the recording. But you have to know how to read the measurements...

We do have a four channel 500watts/ch with alldsp rack amp, a bit higher cost than the built in option(for a pair of two way speakers) but find a comparable quality amp with that much power and a 64bit DSP system for less than $2800. And like c2K says we can do nearly anything you can imagine...

The drivers are the same as used in the 6.1.P. Yes the small holes are for screws, the tweeters are mounted to the back of the plate, and the midbass drivers get sandwiched between the cabinet and the plate, same idea as the 8.2.P and 6.1.P and 8.7.P. Sorry no grills here
