Having worked with GM's paint/polymer engineering group identifying paint defects, the problem I see when polishing the cars so nicely like that is you can see the orange peel so well, it's almost annoying. Maybe one day car companies will get better at matching fascia and body panel colors...

Agree with the above statement. I bought two shakers (Aura brand from PE) for use in my apartment with neighbors attached above, below and on the sides. Now that I have my own place (and subs), I have no use for the shakers and was actually trying to sell them somewhat passively on Craigslist.

I have yet to see a set without speaker wire in it. But as J said, typically it's 20-24 AWG wire which is just asking for issues.

Car companies do have the ability to do this, with every phone. Yes, as someone mentioned there are apps out there that will have this effect on your phone. The reason car companies have not implemented the technology is that it would disable all the phones in the car, not just the drivers...
