    What are these for????

Those are your Low to High Freq adjustments. The DB is for how much, or how little you want each adjustment to be for your listening tastes. Usually Mids are cut more than Lows and Highs.

Samsung Super OLED 55-inch TV Preview

I'm not into 3D myself. But if our Sony XBR-1 ever craps out, I have a feeling every set will be 3D by then. But, yeah 5 Grand is too much to spend on a TV, regardless of what it does. Our 5 year old Sony still rivals the expensive ones out there, in picture and sound.

Bose: Why Audiophiles Should Stop the Hate

I can say a LOT about BOSE, since I'm well familiar with the ACUSStiMESS System. I defended my Bose AM 15s for 8 years taking for granted that Bose made the BEST systems, blind to any other brand. I never thought about why my ears would ring after watching or listening to movies or concerts. I...

    Backup Plan

When you say BACK UP, does that mean you don't run the new one at all? Or do you run it once in a while to keep tabs on it, to make sure it still works when you need it? Can't beat the reason why you have two, especially at that price.

    Amp receiver question

Since you're going with the XPA-3, maybe you can ask Vincent there at EMO, about a 'B' Stock one. It can't hurt. It worked for me when I ordered the XPA-5. It took another hundred off the amp.

Yamaha RX-V667 Sub Out signal is low

Try setting the sub to 80hz. And your mains and surround to 100. See if that helps. Also, are you sure you hooked up the sub to the SUB OUT on the reciever? And make sure it's hooked up with the main zone, not zone 2.

    SXRD Optical Block Solution

Thank you for the info. That was a lot of good material covered there. LCD may be the next if something DRASTIC happens to the 50XBR1. Yes, I have noticed the SXRD is still in use on Sony Projectors.

    SXRD Optical Block Solution

Well, it's been about 3 years since the OP Block was replaced. It's on everyday. I think there are a lot of other tv manufacters out there with many issues that we don't hear about. Still haven't found any tv, Plasma, Lcd or otherwise, that beats this picture. I think three years is a good...

    Set Up Complete...yea.

Well yes, as far as a few years down the road goes, it's complete. As long as something doesn't need to be replaced all is good. It took about 5 years to change over from a so so system, to the one now, I was really gunning for. If there is a next big bug, I don't want to catch it.:)
