Frankly, at this price point you're not going to hear that much of a difference, if any. As I don't listen to music -only movies- it doesn't make much of a difference to me. If my Integra hadn't gone, I probably would have kept it. Thanks for the feedback. Rick

No Westcott, the screen is on the 17 foot wall. The other wall (the ones with the door), is 22 feet, so we're fine. Rick

Sorry so late, but I haven't been here for awhile and just found your question. No, there are absolutely no rattles from the garage door. Or if there is, it's inaudible as the theater is very well soundproofed. Rick

I'm replacing my Anthem LTX500 (Anthem repackaged JVC RS20) with the JVC DLA-RS66. I had excellent results using the DIY RS20 calibration settings found on-line. Does anybody have settings for for the RS66? Thanks Rick

jnelson88 Thanx for the comment. I use them only for movies, and they're fantastic. I wouldn't use anything but a horn loaded speaker. They're up front and have a definite impact. For music though....

Thank you Ellisr for your kind words. When you do make the conversion you won't regret it. It comes down to what do you want in the garage -- a car or a theater. For me it was an easy choice-- the car is just fine outside! Thanx Again BDG
