    Excuse me lsiberian but when you said that you could mod that line of speakers from JBL and make them HI-FI, what are you referring to? you can change the drivers? the crossover? is that line not HI-FI already?

    Hey yeahman your source of dissapointing gotta be the receiver few months back I had a TX-SR505 that is supposed to be a little higher quality than the one you have and I never liked the way music sounded on that receiver that changed dramatically when I switch to a different receiver brand.

    I don't know about the Marantz but I can tell you that I had an Onkyo TX-SR505 (entry level) and it was the biggest piece of crap ever hopefully I replaced it with a Yamaha RX-V663.
