I have two Emotiva products, an XDA-2 and a UMC-200. I am completely satisfied with both. I tried two Outlaw 975's before buying the UMC-200. Neither of the Outlaw's worked properly in my system.

Speakers are not "powerful". Some are more efficient than others. Meaning they need less power for a given output level (volume). Speakers have power handling capacity. Some can handle more power (Watts) than others.

Try em! You've got nothing to loose. If you don't like em send em back. They are kind of bass shy. They need a subwoofer much more than the other larger models.
