Has there ever been an effort to build CNC plans for DIY speaker builds? There are CNC shops everywhere that will do a cut job for reasonable money if you have a set of plans. I see flat pack kits for sale everywhere for big dollars... seems like this could be something the community figures out.

I am using TSC in ceiling speakers too. I also have "blown in" insulation in my attic. The step up series from TSC are acutally closed back speakers which I think would be much better for your application.
