I am not claiming to be an expert when it comes to subs but did go trough a few of them since the mid 70's. My first one was a sub satellite system "David and Goliath". For the mid 70's it was kind of impressive.

I see there are better QSC amps on the market, I am just speaking on the ones I have. Mine are entry level GX-5's and the older one I think is the model 1400 now that amp sounds great.

Thanks Kurt, I still hope so but it doesn't look to promising for me. It's not easy when they give you an expiration date and tell you get things in order quick. The worst thing is that I also lost some minor hearing.

Big difference in amps. I have 3 QSC amps and one Crown xls 2000 as far as pro amps go. Crown sounds better by long shot but my old QSC (US made) 200 watt amp sounds great, I have to say the newer QSC amps are a big disapointment to me, they're for my son anyway, he don't know the difference.

For the money I think Outlaws are great amps. Had a 120x7 about 15 years ago and it sounded great, way better then I ever expected. Sold it to a friend of mine and it’s still in his system. I like outlaw products. Next processor is going to be an Outlaw

Best amp for the Souce is the Chord 500 + watts but the Times One at only 200 watts sounds great too

Different sounding but awesome. What a presence for 7” drivers, they got a hell of a punch too and can take 500 watts with sou flintching

If owned a few amps over the last 50+ years and only on one of them a rail went out on one of them and that was after about 20 years which I gave to Alex (fuzz) he fixed it and is still using it in his system I have owned a few amps over the last 50 years and only one blew a rail after 20 years...
