Is a sealed box that is 2.4ft3 a good sized box for my tc sounds 18"? On winisd it said that it was perfect for this sub.

I am going to purchase 2 of these subs. My question is... whats the smallest dimension for proper air flow to the back of the sub? The sub is 11.54" deep. So would a box that is 1 inch deeper than this be enough room for the sub to breathe? Thnak you!

Ok I have a box that is tuned to 20hz but have the subsonic filter set at 30hz. Will this affect the performance badly or what will happen. The reason I did this is because the box wasnt designed for this sub. The sub has an f3 of 34hz. Thanks for your time everyone!

I want to spend about $300 or less on an 18" subwoofer that would sound good tuned around 20hz for home theater. Could you guys give me an idea. I can do up too 9ft3 on the size of the box before displacements. And would a port that measures 2.5" x 20" be large enough to keep the port noise down?

Would a home theater enclosure of 6.8ft3 tuned at 22hz work ok with the Fi Q18" or is the fs too high for that?

I was wondering this is just for learning purposes... If you had an enclosure for SPL that was tuned higher than a sq enclosure say about 40hz.... would it hurt the sub to set the subsonic filter as low as say 20hz? What would happen in this example?

Ok so I made a sonotube enclosure for my JL audio 12w7 but calculated the box wrong... so the box is about .4ft3 too big! Is there anything I can put in the box to take up some room? A small pillow? or would that make the box think it was bigger like with polyfill?
