Large or small?
My first curiosity is whether our FQ sensitivity should be applied? I would think so. I assume that infrasound won't mask audible sound; and if that assumption is correct, then it's likely that we need to apply a FR curve. Also: I notice we are talking (assuming that graph is real values and...

Large or small?
The only time I've noticed speech intelligibility issues is with some LCR systems. I solved those by pantomiming the center. What's a good sample of a speaker with speech issues? Regardless, I would doubt the sub has much to do with speech. While the male fundamental frequency can fall within...

No. He's stirred up a hornets nest that will distract you from his handling of COVID-19. Just like his handling of COVID-19 distracted you from the thing before it. Immigrant children are still being held in cages. Russia is still meddling in US elections. We still aren't in the Paris Climate...

Think about how much confusion there is over COVID-19 death counts. Now imagine there's a war going on. (on your soil, not being in the US while we conduct a war overseas) And no computers. And no CDC, NIH, WHO, etc. And no actual test.

Exactly. So the cartels made rules (laws) and enforced them. You said "You really want to give the gubmint that much power over us?" The power involved is passing and enforcing rules. That's all non-sequiter. Everyone opposes over-reach. Everyone opposes being oppressed. I assume you are...

My money says he's not taking it. My money is that he said that so we stop looking at his firing of the AG that was investigating fraud in his administration (The one he claims he doesn't know). I'm betting that he said that so we focus on that rather than the rising death toll. It's a...

Don't buy them, they are a waste of money. But I see nothing that suggests harm from using one you have. This sounds like it will make your sound less chocolaty. "Dynamic range" is a pretty easy thing to test with a mic. The fact that he's no measurements should help you understand that it's...

Are power conditioners good or bad?
Surge suppressors don't work that way. They have MOVs which act as an insulator below a certain voltage and become a conductor above it. When you aren't in overload, they literally do nothing. When you are, they provide a shortened path to ground. If plugging something into a surge suppressor...

OK. I'll change the punctuation then. You mean the power to pass and enforce laws.

That depends on how through the combination of purge and terror campaigns have been at the NIH. Trump was already cutting their budget and is blaming the NIH. https://www.latimes.com/business/story/2020-04-20/nih-trump-coronavirus-science...

I would be shocked if it were not true. It would be like failing to find increased mortality among people with immunodeficiency disorders.

@Danzilla31 FWIW: I don't think any of us are blind nor indifferent to the damage caused by the lockdown. I do actually understand the position you are/were coming from and it's a perfectly valid one... the lockdown causes harm and the decisions have to be looked at in terms of harm caused as...

Early is part 1 of the problem. Wrong is part 2 of the problem. I think the strategy is that Americans have the memory of goldfish. If we can peak the pain before November such that October is better than September (even if its way worse than now) we'll be "winning" and Trump gets re-elected...
