    Bluegrass Audiophiles UNITE!!!

I'm not sure if I qualify as a bluegrass audiophile, becaude I like to listen to the really old stuff from 78 rpm days. Of course I listen to newer artists as well.

    New Sony ES receivers

Gosh, I wish I had known about that awful customer service before I bought all my Sony stuff. I have two receivers, a Walkman, two VCRs, and a couple of disc players. This stuff was purchased from 1985 to 2010, and they just won't die. I'm sure I'll be greatly disappointed as soon as I...

Polk Rti A3 is one of the worst speakers I have ever listened to

I'm not saying this is proof, but it is an interesting viewpoint with data. http://www.gr-research.com/myths.htm

I'm having real problems buying this guy's story.

I'm wondering if the bankrupt gentleman could panic for 23 minutes in order to get publicity for a really good financial settlement? http://jalopnik.com/5491543/bankrupt-runaway-prius-driver-owns-adult-swinger-site

    Favorite TV show line

From Burn Notice: Well, in my experience, if something seems too good to be true, it's best to shoot it just in case.

    Favorite Movie Line?

If Aragorn is too corny howzabout this? Elwood: It's a hundred and six miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses. Jake: Hit it.

    Favorite Movie Line?

My favorite line is one spoken by Aragorn. "Hold your ground, hold your ground. Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers. I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship...

    First Time Out!

Wow, that's what I call diving in to HT! Sounds like a great system. As for power conditioning, I think you're all set. I have to use something to protect my stuff from voltage spikes, and my power equipment is no better than yours. I've measured spikes as high as 340V on a 110V line.

    My New Denon Rack

AcuDefTechGuy, I had to register just to tell you how much I love your system. It is the sort of thing I'd try if I could. I've spent so many hours trying to help a friend make his Onkyo 805 work, that the "hassle" of three volume controls seems like heaven. Happy listening!
