Adding a Sub
I have one in house for testing and I think many will be surprised at the performance - price point. Review forthcoming

Intel Processor which 1??
MEDIA MONKEY :D Twonky for the server;) Again no offense to mac users, but IMHO itunes sucks. Ive always championed MAC as a great tool, but of late their self imposed "control" irks me. Lack of flash support for their two mobile mediums is mind boggling. ( I know it not I tunes) DRM is way out...

Adding a Sub
If your looking for a budget sub, check out Lavasubs.com , their 12". It is a very strong sub at the price point.

Intel Processor which 1??
Here are benchmarks for most processors. Unless your encoding or did audio or video editing, the I3 is more than sufficient. If your building you might find that you will not want either chip and choose something that offers close to the same performance for a lot less of price.

I distinctly remember something being said about not leaking plans to the third Death Star, I'm not losing 3 because our confidentiality agreements are not being honored. :D

Pioneer VSX-94TXH Zone 2 and 3 speakers emit rhythmic 192 bpm noise
Did you check your analog inputs and outputs to make sure they all are secure?

Pioneer SC35 vs Yamaha RXA2000
Direct comparisons are not going to be easy to find at this time. I would choose the unit that has the feature set you need, as both at their price points should perform well with most speaker loads in most rooms.

Did you download your motherboard drivers and see if you could reinstall them? However with no light coming on you might open it up and see if you can see some visual damage :( http://www.emachine-upgraders.info/
