hello folks. i have 2 of these, built a good while ago. i just replaced them with 2 ULTIMAX 18'S in 14cf ported each. the condo i used to live in had massive room gain. my new house, been here 5 years now, has almost 0 room gain.

yeah, 4 18's would be nice. and those are not that costly either. but you are correct, when it is time to upgrade (when i move the theater to the "MAN cave" in the basement) i think i am going to want "SERIOUS". i am tierd of hearing my subs being distrested . TRON really did this to em. but...

that is just a temp mount/stand. as is the rest of the theater in that room. i have now made a more permanent temporary stand/mount out of 2 2x4's and some plywood. and i now have the sides mounted on the wall. when i first got my pj, i also stacked it in boxs, just to get it up and running...

yeah, well, don't count on it. my pj is acting up. never did it. then a hint of problems. then BAMMMM, couldn't even use it. then the next day, like it never happened. now, its acting up a little again. and mine has low hrs on it, 550.

open up the projector. unplug & replug(at least several times per connection) all connections you can find. including the bulb.

while i have not seen a 3D H/T. i am thinking just this ^ . and when my PJ goes belly up. i will for sure go 3D.

new gear is always fun.

looks real nice. nice gear also. if you have not considered it, you should look into a projector. then your video would match your audio.

good luck with your build. i like my subs, they are pretty nice. but they cannot do loud and low at the same time. when i say loud, i mean pressurize the room loud.

i tried the PJ just now = last 1/2+hr. and it is working mostly just fine. idk ......

i didn't read this thread. but that is an easy room. move the tv to where the 2 windows are. mount speakers as a typical setup.
