I have the Polk TC80 and love them. They may be just out of your price range and size but I have been very happy with them and my wife likes the clean lines of no HUGE front channels. I believe they make a 6 inch version also. I checked them out at my local Tweeters.

I went with 5 in-ceiling Polk Audios TC80i and they are working out great. Have a sub hidden in the corner. For HT it is working out great and very wife friendly.

Hmm... ok, I figured I was making a silly mistake. So the little clear plastic caps on the end of the cable must be removed? Isn't the plastic door/cover on the radio designed to open when you insert plug or do I need to do something to remove it also?
