I have the VP-100 in my bedroom setup my room is 16' x 14' x 9' so just a bit bigger than yours and it does great. I have the M22's front QS8's for rears I use a small sub a STF-1. I could go bigger on the sub but for a 5.1 bedroom setup I'm happy have fun looking.:D

I owned Paradigm monitors and have heard PSB, the monitors did sound good for movies, I thought they sounded ok for music. Their strong point was movies. I think that the Axiom VP-150 or VP-100 as a center would be under the 8" tall. PSB, Paradigm, and Axiom all came from the NRC I own Axioms...

That ATC SCM 19 has a 3" midrange grafted into the 6" driver very nice. I have the SCM40's. I like the ATC speakers but if you take say 150mm divide by 25 that will give you the inches have a good one.

I would like to say thats real good advice from 3db. I would like to add IMO keep the speakers the same. I had Axiom's with some Paradigm surrounds replaced the Paradigms with Axiom surrounds. It just brought the system together so IMO stay with the same speaker. Have a good one:D

If you can check out the ATC SCM 7 I did A/B the two in the same shop its a liitle but sounded big. ATC is a sealed speaker needs a bit more power but at lower listen levels shouldn't be a problem. Have a good one:D

That is a good point of the roll off of the small HSU 25hz yes better for music. I was just looking at 2-10's have close to the cone area of a single 15" but the room is just 1755 ft^3. A lot of good choices here have a good one.:D

I know your looking small but here is some choices HSU VFT-1 could go with two of them be close to your 1K. Paradigm Ultra Cube 10" it's a 12" cube. SVS 12" NSD 14" cube. Ryhtmik 12F close to a 15 3/4 cube. I know there others but there something to think about have fun.:D
