The new NSD have a gray driver and the ISD driver is black (wet look) Look at the attachment, you will see the difference. Bert

Amazingly New SW Experience
Hi Avliner, My room is 19 x 11 x 7, almost like your room and about 3 weeks ago I made exacly the same move, I put my PC Ultra in the left rear corner. This corner now belong to the PCU, that's where it sound the best, no doubt about it. :D Bertrand

Direct radiator is the most common type, that's probably why I bought mine. Never try or heard dipole for surround.

I think that proper location and calibration are the most important steps in setting up your subwoofer. Try many places and choose the best.

BFD questions
Mike, I have my old Yamaha YST-100 but I will wait for my new sub. The guy at the store said to me I was the first in about 18-24 month asking for a BFD so I assume he will still have it if I need it. :cool: Bert

Hi all, I have an oppotunity to buy a BFD DSP1124P here at a local store for $100 CDN plus tax. It's new in it's box. It's the lowest price I've seen but my question is, do I need a BFD?? I currently don't have a sub (sold my PB10 last month) and I'm waiting for the release of the new Ultra...

Here is what Ron said on another forum: Guys, There sure isn't much that gets by you! Sorry for the slight delay on the announcement, had some last minute web related issues to smooth out (thanks for feedback from those like Eli who got drivers for beta testing and comparisons)...

Craig, When you will remove the "old" driver from the box can you take a picture of the old and new driver side by side and explain us what are the differences between those drivers. Bert.

Craig, now that HSU, Axiom and other company can come close or even have a slight advantage on the SVS Ultra driver, do you think that SVS will update their flagship driver? Bertrand
