It doesn't that's why it burnt up the tweeter. Clipping the amp is most likely the cause of the failure.

I've seen some that reported problems and I've also seen this with every other manufacture. No matter the maker there will be, without doubt, problems reported.

If you have $700 plus shipping have you looked at the eD A5 - 350 ? Shipping is included in the price. IMO it would a great sub in a room of your size.
