    Default Need help on projector

Just finished my media room. 16 x17 (I know box like, but it's what I could do) and theater red with dark gray carpet. I have a series of doors at back that allow it to be opened to the rec room. I did that for sports parties, gaming, etc. I am thinking the panasonic AE7000u or Epson 5010. Looking for some advice between the 2. I'm thinking 120 inch tab tensioned motorized screen.
Thanks in advance for the help!

It's hard to go wrong with either of those choices. Minimal differences depending on what you plan to use it for.

    Mostly TV?

    Mostly Movies?

    3D?

Would be mostly movies, occ 3d, though not extensively. Sports would be the next most common. I would say movies at about 60% and sports 30%, 10% other. That might change over time as my kids get bigger!

I went with the Epson and love it. No regrets of any kind.

Have you considered a JVC RS45/X3?

So, have you considered the JVC RS45?

If you aren't interested in DLP, then that's the way to go.
