I have 1 more episode to finish season 2 of GoT. I looked through the seasons and it turns out I made it all the way to season 4 when I watched it a few years ago. I decided to just start over since my wife hasn't seen any of it. She's digging it so far now too. Everyone likes a good murder porn show... :p

so funny, my mail program dumped this in junk mail because of the word 'wet' in the title. :p

Fast And The Furious 8.. IT was a fun movie and really had its "guy" humour parts.

I've been binge watching Game of Thrones. I watched all the way through season 4 a couple years ago, but started over so my wife can catch up. Plus there are things I missed and/or forgot the first time through.

I watched The Revenant last night. Wasn't all that impressed with the story, but thought it was well shot cinematically.

Right now I'm watching This Is Spinal Tap. It still holds up. I've been chuckling all the way through it.

"Nigel Tufnel: You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like — I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really. It's sort of...
Marty DiBergi: What do you call this?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, this piece is called "Lick My Love Pump.""

:p

*Edit: I just watched the scene where he uses a violin on stage to play his guitar... lol

This week the wife and I started watching the Hobbit movies and then the Lord of the Rings. Tonight was "The Two Towers." We'll finish up with the "Return of the King" sometime this weekend.

Lord of the Rings? Really late to the party there. :D

My wife's favorite show of all times is Game of Thrones. Absolutely loves Game of Thrones.

She also says that "Lord of the Rings" movies are among her LEAST favorite movies. Actually, she absolutely hates "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" movies. :D

Yet, every time we watch Game of Thrones, she always refers to it as "Lord of the Rings show".

And I would say, "You mean Game of Thrones?" :D

You're right, "really late to the party." I mean, who wants to watch a movie that's more than a couple of months old. I'd hate to tell you that I've also watched some old Johnny Weissmuller "Tarzan" movies, and even some "classics" like "The Ten Commandments." I guess you should call the old folks home and let them know I'm ready.:D

Well, to be fair the lotr movies are 15-16 years old. I mean, I'd watch them again sometime in the near future no problem. Great movies. I don't think I know anyone who hasn't seen them tho.

I think you missed my point. I saw these movies when they were first released, bought them when released on DVD, bought them again when the extended editions were released, etc.. We watch them about every few years because we enjoy them.
So what should I be posting under "What are you watching tonight?" Am I missing the point again? I thought this was where people shared. If I'm wrong, I apologize. I don't mean to waste my time or yours.

@ADTG try to be nicer. @Joe B, nothing wrong with rewatching old classics. I watched last week "Wasabi" with Jean Reno and really enjoyed it, again. I saw this movie possibly 10 times. I should also rewatch Ronin. BTW 22 bullets isn't bad and same goes for Lucy

Wow. Please accept my apologies.

My guess is that ADTG misread your post the same way I did when you typed " the wife and I started watching the Hobbit movies and then the Lord of the Rings.". It kinda reads like you've never seen it before, hence the late to the party comment. I even stated in my post that I'd watch it again. I rewatch favorite movies of mine all the time.

I just rewatched "This Is Spinal Tap" yesterday and posted about it, I think here? Anyhoo, I don't care who, how or what anyone posts for movies and I don't think ADTG or anyone else does either. Sometimes when someone kids with you it can be a friendly thing. ;) I'll be careful from now on.

I did not! lol!

I had a lot of fun watching it yesterday. I haven't seen it in well over ten years. It still cracks me up.

I was trying to be funny. :)

And just speaking freely without thinking. :D

My wife asked me the other day about watching "Lord of the Rings show" when she really meant Game of Thrones.

So just came to mind is all.

Watched the recent Ghost in the Shell tonight for the first time. I really enjoyed it. The Atmos version was spectacular.
