Does anyone know if getting a Roku Ultra HD w/ HDR would be unnecessarily redundant if I already have a Panasonic UB900 4K BluRay player and/or OLED with internal apps that support HDR?

Only if all of the streaming services you use are included in the TV and BD player. Keep in mind that the roku will receive regular updates while your TV and BD player may not. For panasonic I can tell you that the SOC they use in the players and TVs is vastly uderpowered. Basically, the roku will probably be faster navigating through menus, launching apps, etc.

That is a very good (and often forgotten) point re the frequency of updates and how that translates into whether or not any given device adds more or less value. Ok, got it, thanks!
