Pioneer Receiver vsx-518-k

I have just got the pioneer receiver VSX-518-K, but the problem is it doesn't power up, no standby light / display or anything. Checked all the fuses and they all ok, can anyone advise me on what to check/do next

did you buy it new? no power at all and dead in the water ain't good...

*edit: found this. try resetting to factory. dunno if it'll do you any good with no power at all, but worth a shot.

I messed up the image somehow. click. scroll down until you see "resetting the main unit".

You unplugged it for a while for a soft reset?

Get your money back if you can, repair it, or recycle it....I think you have what is known as a "brick" at this point.
