Hey everyone,

Sorry for the double post, but I originally put this in the wrong section. Hopefully this is better.

I have been trying to figure out a good home audio system for my apartment. I'm completely new to all this and in way over my head. Any help would be much appreciated.

Below is what I was looking for and the quote I got from a local shop. I was wondering if it's a good deal or if I should just get all Sonos and be done.

Things I'm looking for:

- Voice controlled (Siri, Alexia, or other) and ability to use iPad.
- Zone function: Ability to watch movie in living room and play music in bedroom
- Speakers that will last for a while and not crap out in a few years.
- Needs to be in wall (except sub). Only 900Sq foot apt and need the space.
- Would be nice to listen to computer in study through the in ceiling study speakers. Same for bedroom TV.
- For now I will only use 5.1, but plan to upgrade to 7.2 later.
- 2 speakers in my bedroom
- 2 in my study
- 1 in bathroom
- Will add another amp and 3 speakers in basement when I get the money later.

Here is the set up so far:

Livingroom:

Integra DTR40.7 - 7.2ch netwrok A/V receiver DTS:X Upgradable : $899
Sonos ZP90 Zone player : $349
JL Audio E110ASH - 10" Subwoofer Black Ash : $1,500
5 B&W CWM664 6" In Wall Speakers : $275 - $1,375 total.

Bedroom:

2 B&W CCM665 6" In Ceiling dual channel speakers $200 - $400 total
Sonos ZP120 Networked audio player amp $499

Study:

2 B&W CCM665 6" In Ceiling dual channel speakers $200 - $400 total
Sonos ZP120 Networked audio player amp $499

Bathroom:

2 B&W CCM664SR 6" In Ceiling dual channel speakers $350
Sonos ZP120 Networked audio player amp $499

Total: $6,770

Here are some pics of what the apartment will look like. The couch will be on the wall next to the dividing wall and the TV will be opposite. I would like to have all the speaker for the surround sound in wall and maybe and to mid speakers in ceiling later. I figured the kitchen can go without speakers since it is right next to living room.

By the way the photos are the upstairs apartment. Same layout mostly. My place is gutted right now. That is why I'm trying to figure out the best option.

Thanks for the help.

So can anyone let me know if this is good for the money and will fit my needs.

I'm thinking I may just build recessed shelves in the walls and get all Sonos instead. I just can find any reviews for this speaker model.

Its pretty good. Only thing for your movie room/ living I would not go for ceiling/in wall speaker (ceiling only for atmos if needed). I prefer tower with bookshelfs. The receiver is very good
