I use a ps3 for bluray and anthem blx200 for cd/dvd playback (bluray is shot). Both are connected via hdmi. Anthem-should I run pcm 5.1, or bitstream, choices are hd, legacy or mixed (think I'm confusing myself with all the options) ps3-same issue, tons of options available.
I keep reading, what I get out of it, mixed explanations on pcm vs bitstream. Pcm would decode at the source ie ps3 or anthem. And bitsream would leave the decoding to the integra? More so lost on explanations of both compressing the audio, of course I want to playback at a lossless level.
Btw, i have to boast, I scored the integra for an epic $50.
