Golden Butter "Best Of Pual Butterfield Bues Band"
I just discovered a "juggernaught" of a song from him that was the precursor to acid rock, a song entitled "east-west" Its such a great tune that I'm on a hunt now for the "east-west album.

The only thing they've ever played here is "I don't care" and "I'm not jesus" and neither of them got much attention, so you don't really hear the band name on the radio ever. I just happened to hear they were Finnish, and looked them up, and liked the style (when I'm in the right mood).
But I'm also not a typical 27 year old, I'll put on an old record of some classical (Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, etc) and sit back with my stereo pushing 100 dB and close my eyes and just listen.
At the same time, I LOVE Rammstein, so chances are my musical tastes are not the norm...
:edit Also, I think BC has a totally different music scene than southern ontario. Hell, everything is different in BC!

The Mars Volta - The Bedlam in Goliath.
It has taken me some time to warm up to this album, but damn, I can't get enough of it. Really digging the new drummer too. He's freaking quick, and tight.
More Video's when youtube stops ****ing up.
SheepStar
^^^ Cool idea linking youtube...
Here's one of my fave songs at the moment... starts out mellow but I like the drum beat a lot.
DJ Shadow - Dolphins were Monkeys
Another big favorite of mine.
DJ Shadow - Blood on the Motorway

I am listening to the two-channel stereo layer of LINN Selektions, LINN AKP 245, a SACD sampler disc.
