    Default Flowers of War

The Flowers of War (2011) - IMDb

Not sure how I heard about this movie but it was pretty good. Bale plays a scumbag American caught in Nanking during the Japanese invasion of 1937. He takes shelter in a Catholic church and impersonates a priest to save his own skin. A group of young schoolgirls and some Chinese courtesans are also hiding in the church. Bale ends up trying to protect them all.

Definitely a tear jerker. There's some decent LFE in the beginning during a short battle scene.

When you're arguing with an idiot, make sure the person you are speaking to isn't doing the same thing.
