    Default Savages

    Anybody seen this yet? With the young'un off at summer camp, the wife and I are planning on going out this week to see our first movie since Avatar, that wasn't animated.

    Looks like slim pickings in the theatres though. We aren't into superhero flics and I really don't want to see male strippers. Not much else out there. Savages appears to be quite violent, which the wife isn't keen on, but doesn't bother me at all. Any other suggestions?

    Prometheus was good, if you like the Alien franchise. My wife is not a fan of the super hero flicks either but she really liked Avengers.

    That wasn't on my radar at all - thanks for suggesting it. Looks like something she'd enjoy...although I still want to see Ted. I checked Rotten Tomatoes and Moonrise Kingdom is highly rated, so I may bite the bullet and take her to that one. She'll just owe me.
