I'm a big JBL fan, but I'd rather get the B1's(budget wise) or if I had the money the Bx2. I almost bought those 130's when they were on sale $99, but something told me not to. If you could swing these I'd get them over the others: Amazon.com: JBL L830 3-Way 6-Inch Bookshelf Loudspeaker (Pair, Black): Electronics

    or

    Amazon.com: JBL ES30BK 3-Way, 6 1/2" Bookshelf Speaker - Black (Pair): Electronics

I actually went from a JBL L830+center to Monitor Audio RS8/RSLCR set up. I am pleased with the outcome although it is a bit unfair due to the JBL's being a bookshelf and the MA's are towers. The center is what I found to be a large improvement. Although smaller than the JBL, the RSLCR is a lot better with dialogue.
    Receiver- Yamaha RX-V659 (as pre/pro)
    Amp - Emotiva UPA-5
Source 1 - Phillips "42 Flat Screen (Fios)
    Source 2 - Panasonic BD-85
    Source 3 - Roku Soundbridge
    Turntable - Rotel w/Grato cartridge
Main Speakers - Monitor Audio RS8
    Center - Monitor Audio RSLCR
    Surrounds - JBL Studio L810
    Sub - Outlaw LFM - 1c
    Remote - Harmony one

So those two I mentioned should do you well. The center I mentioned go for about $100 used. I just got mine on ebay recently and I love it. Clear as a bell. What are using it with receiver/PC?
