    year/quality/price Please help

    To help others here, they are Wharfedale Laser 50s (I'd link the images, but they are large photos).

    If no one here can help you, you can try contacting Wharfedale directly to ask them.

    If I had to guess, based on the years of the other Laser models that I've found, those were built in the early 80's. Based on eBay auctions for Laser models, the 50s would likely be listed at around $50 for the pair.

    Those speakers come from a time when Wharfedale were owned by the Rank organization. They owned Harold J. Leak also and trashed it. The Leak name disappeared, but Wharfedale are now owned by IAG out of China, who also own Quad and some other brands. I have to say IAG are not the worst owners, but Rank were.

    Sorry, but you have bought junk. Those speakers are one of the markers of the West's decent to the Third World.
