Arrow Elemental Designs EL8.3t Tower Speaker First Look

The new Elemental Designs EL speakers (headed by the EL8.3t Towers) represent a new direction for eD. With a higher price-point, top notch components, and solid construction, their price very well may be justified. Also in the line are the EL8.3c Center and EL6.3b bookshelf.

I would tend to doubt that the towers and monitors have the same extension. It's possible but not likely. If they did, power handling would still be a reason to opt for the towers. Plus, a lot of people think towers look cool.

I would be interested to know how much, if any baffle step compensation they use. Since the front ports may facilitate placement near a wall, did they leave it out?
