This seems to be over kill for what should be an easy solution: People simply what a bit better sound than what comes out of the 50 cent speakers on most flat panel tvs.. so why can they simply put a couple of variable RCA outs on a tv so you can plug in a small amp and a pair of bookshelf speakers. Each can have a 5 inch woofer for good bass
