I see your reference to Norwegian Cow skin, perhaps it's related to some of these farmers around here that deliver ultra soft hyper shining superduper genuine mega-breathing skin to Louis Vuitton, strange that Audio Technica didn't contact them, these farmers are probably quite creative too when it comes to how to name the cow-skin, there are many nice words before and after "cow-skin" the same as with the name of this Japanese wood
