    Hooray, another contest :)

    1) Do you like this finish?

    Yes, it looks great.

    2) What other finishes would you like to see in a speaker like this?

I'd like to see some wood finishes, or orbs made of wood. Bamboo, rosenut, light cherry, dark cherry, etc.

    3) What color would you most like to see offered for a subwoofer (in addition to black)?

Matching finishes to the wood mentioned above.

    1) Do you like this finish?

Actually quite a bit, I like the distinct hammered look, don't recall seeing other speakers in a finish like this.

    2) What other finishes would you like to see in a speaker like this?

I would certainly expand this line if possible, different metal hammered finishes would look nice.

    3) What color would you most like to see offered for a subwoofer (in addition to black)?

I suspect many people purchasing Orb Audio equipment are concerned about aesthetics, therefore I think the sub should match the speakers. Since these are a metal finish, I would be interested to see what kind of subwoofer cabinets could be constructed out of wood, then perhaps cover it with a matching metallic finish somehow. Could be chintzy done poorly, could be classy done well.

    Office: E-MU 0404 USB, Behringer 2030P, Dayton Sub-100, TEAC AG-V8500.

    Contest Questions:
Orb Audio would like to get your input to help them continue to serve you and your audio needs. Please help them (and enter) by answering the following questions in your post:

    1) Do you like this finish? Absolutely. This kind of finish would conceal dust buildup very well and doesn't look like the pits are too sharp to prevent thorough cleaning. It would also fit with my preferred decor perfectly. Amazing!

    2) What other finishes would you like to see in a speaker like this? For people who like lighter tones, a similar texture with a white or very light grey finish would be incredible.

    3) What color would you most like to see offered for a subwoofer (in addition to black)? A subwoofer with a finish like this would ooze beauty into any setup.

    1) Do you like this finish? Yes, it looks antique.

    2) What other finishes would you like to see in a speaker like this? This same finish with maybe some blueish tones. Like a copper pot that has tarnish on it. I feel this would go well with a room with brown couches.

    3) What color would you most like to see offered for a subwoofer (in addition to black)? Same as question 2. Matching the speakers and sub color.

    1) Do you like this finish?
    Yes, very steampunk.

    2) What other finishes would you like to see in a speaker like this?
I don't picture too many of these kind of finishes ending up in the living room, but in a desk/office setting, a weathered brass might look nice.

    3) What color would you most like to see offered for a subwoofer (in addition to black)?

I haven't yet founds a subwoofer that I actually want to look at, but I'd love to see a cylinder with a metal finish of some kind. Something that looks like standing art instead of a box.
