    Default Newbie here 2k budget 3.1 system looking for suggestions

    my first post and I'm a newbie zero knowledge about home audio. I am looking into getting a descent speaker set up. mostly for movies/music Id say 75/25. my budget is 2k not over. looking for a 2 front 1 center and sub.did some search online Klipsch rf82ii and Paradigm monitor 9 is on my list. and If any member around here from Central NJ can you guys recommend an audio shop where I could find and listen to these speakers. BB and ElecExpo does not carry the model. any respond is greatly appreciated. Thank you

    I think you can do better but it's hard to be of any help without knowing how big the room is. By big I mean total cubic footage including attached spaces that are open to the listening room. It would also help to know how far the speakers are from the listeners.

    Does your budget include an AV receiver or do you already have that?
