Currently I am overseas and my Marantz SR6003 works here on 240V.
I am shortly moving to US and was considering using it in US with a voltage converter.
What are the Pros & Cons of this ? Appreciate your advice on this.

That's not universally true for video as some TVs support both formats, though. For RCA and S-Video connections, it can be an issue, but I'm not convinced that it applies to HDMI as strictly. Why do you say U.S. TVs and players won't work with the Marantz HDMI connections?

PAL and NTSC have different and fundamental differences.
He will need a converter like this, but results my be unreliable because of DRM issues.
In addition the FM pre/emphasis and de/emphasis is different from region to region.
I never advise trying to use a receiver in a different region from what is was designed for.
You are far better off selling it and buying new after the move. That is by far the cheapest and best solution.
