Based on some response to my first thread, I now see that I need to look into some new speakers. Heres what I have now......
Yamaha HTR-5660 (http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/HTIB/HTR5660.htm)
JBL ND310II Mains (http://www.jbl.com/home/products/product_detail.asp?ProdId=ND310II&CheckProduct=Y)
JBL S-CenterII (http://www.jbl.com/home/products/product_detail.asp?ProdId=S-CENTERII&CheckProduct=Y)
JBL N24II Rears (http://www.jbl.com/home/products/product_detail.asp?ProdId=N24II&CheckProduct=Y)
My goal is crystal clear, good dynamic range, and the ability to get loud and still be clear when I want it. I'm in a 12x15 living room in an apt, but I can crank it pretty regularly since the neighbors are never home
My head is exactly 9 feet from the center channel. Let's say I have a budget of $1500 to $2000 for the Mains and Center. Heres the thing I can get Klipsch Synergy and JBL Northridge for about half price, so I have to weigh that in. If I can get away with getting those, that would be super awesome mega sweet. It was also suggested to me to get a 2 channel amp, so any specifics on an amp would be greatly appreciated as well. I am also planning on being in a house soon, so I'm building for the future here too.
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

These seem to be the deal at the moment. You would be hard pressed to find better speakers and amp at a better price.

Nice choice Zumbo. Beautiful looking speakers. I bet s/h is steep. They look heavy.

$63.29 each for the mains
$16.20 for the center

$1352.77 total for the speakers. Not a bad deal. :D

$2427.77 total with amp. I bet they would make a better "package" deal, or combine the shipping on the speakers. :)
