Denon 3910 or Onkyo DV-SP1000???

Has anyone found any head to head reviews of these players? I am looking to purchase a new DVD player and was wondering if anyone could give me their opinions. I am amazed at how many people are selling denon that do not show up on denon's official dealer site. Can anyone give me a reference to an online denon dealer they've worked with?

The only reviews that I have heard/seen about were from Europe. I read them in a forum thread can't remember where. Reviews found that Onkyo sp1000 was in the same elite league as dvd players that cost $5000 and up where as Denon was put into high/mid level.

So for what its worth Europeans don't see the onkyo sp1000 and denon 3910 as competitors.

I am sure if you snoop around a few different forums you can find that same thread.

thanks for the 3910 post. Maybe I didn't read closely enough, but I am curious as to why the audioholics 2910 review and the 3910 review are reviewed on differently...4.5/5 versus 78/130?.

I don't see too many reviews of the onkyo anywhere....
