what is the best way to hook up to the dvd to the tv i mean what is the best cable s-video,component,RCA jacks?

1) Component cable, which uses RCA jacks if you hadn't noticed.

2) S-video, which uses a version of a mini DIN plug.

3) Composite video, which also uses RCA jacks.

4) RF, which uses "F" connectors and, asice from cheap VCR's, is generally obsolete by now.
