Is this correct?

DVD 2200 replaced by DVD 2910
DVD 2900 replaced by DVD 3910
DVD 5900 same as DVD 3910
DVD 5900 replaced by DVD 5910

That's about the size of it except for #3.

The new DVD-5910 is in a class of its own with the DVD-3910 in a sense filling the previous shoes of the DVD-5900 in terms of capabilities and quality.

imho the dvd-3910 is the replacement for the dvd-3800

I've seen a Denon DVD 955 universal player on some web sites - is this an older or a newer model? It's not currently listed on their web site.

The Denon 955 is equivalent to the DVD-1910. It is the version that was designed to be sold by retailers such as Sears, etc. and not at places like Tweeter and other higher-end audio shops.

WRONG the 955 is the same as the 2910
the 755 is the same as the 1910
