Hello Mates, I am looking for the best FM antenna for my receiver that I can get for around $40 or so. Reception and ease of use are top priorities. I do not have a lot of room around my H/T set-up to place a large antenna with wires running about.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated- :D

You can't go wrong with anything from Terk, also I heard that the FM-1A is good from Godar Electronics http://users.mcleodusa.net/m/mgodar/index.html

Local or distance? Stations all around or in one direction?

If there's any way at all, shoot for an outdoor FM antenna. They don't cost a fortune but pay big dividends.

In the same vein, how about an AM antenna? Sorry about the thread-hijacking, but I'd very much like to listen to some talk radio and the included AM antenna with my Yamaha just makes a different kind of static.

I have the select AM antenna, and FM reflect antenna. Both have served me well.
