Notice layer change on Denon DVD-2910?

Does anyone that owns the DVD-2910 notice layer changes?
I have a DVD-2200 that I can exchange and know it is deadly fast, but have no experience with the 2910. The 2200 has a flawless picture with store bought DVD's but has a difficult time with DVD's that I record.

layer changes are about 1 second on the 2910 not bad but not seemless changes of the 2200, navigation is a bit slower on the 2910 also

Thanks, how often do you notice the layer change... is it every movie or just a small percentage?
