I've been reading lately about a new type of woven screen material that's supposedly "99% Acoustically Transparent," but how do they come up with that? ;) I wish I could recall the brand name, but it's supposed to overcome the screendooring you get with microperf screens, giving you a nice bright picture as good as a solid screen while not affecting sound.

Has anyone demoed this before? For the record, I hate all the perforated screens I've seen. Everyone one had a signicant impact on the sound (sort of muffled in the mids and rolled off in the highs) and looked pretty bad. I realize some newer microperfs are supposed to be better, and I haven't seen any newer than mid/late 2003, but the ones I've seen are bad enough I couldn't live with them long term.
