I want to connect a subwoofer to an NAD T763. The receiver has a subwoofer output rca style jack. The subwoofer has the old red and black screw down type posts. All of the subwoofer cables I find are single ended. I've found Y adapters but they all terminate rca style. What would be the recommended course of action?
Thanks for any help

These don't have power amps built in. They depend on external power amps.
To connect it to your NAD's LFE output, you'll need an amplifier.
Check out "plate" or "subwoofer" amps at http://www.partsexpress.com.
These contain all circuitry needed to convert a passive sub into a full blown powered sub.

Thanks for the suggestion markw. And thanks for the link - looks like a great source for stuff.
The subwoofer is an Ohm SB-M. It is a powered subwoofer. Does your recommendation still apply?
Thanks again.

I'd bet you have a crossover built into the sub. This is how most of this type work when you don't have RCA siganl inputs..
You take the front speaker wires from your amp to the sub..connect to the inputs, then take another set of speaker wire back to your front channels. The amp section on the sub has the settings for the crossover.
Easy to tell with yours...you'd have 2 sets of speaker wire connectors..
