I have a really small home office where I listen to music. Right now I have an NAD 370 amp and Onix Rocket 750s for speakers. I sit about 4 feet from the tweeter. It's killing me!!!!!!!
Are there any speakers that would be good for listening really close up? I'm not a fan of highs or brightness. The 750s are really great, fairly laid back speakers, in a large room. But in this room they are driving me nuts.
Thanks.

How about Paradigm's Studio 20's? They're pretty small and very laid-back and neutral. I'm not sure what your price range is, but you should give them a listen.

I would look at a set of near field monitors at a pro sound store. Some brands to audition would be Genelec and Mackie. Also the Behringer "Truth" series are an amazing choice for the money.
